Associated Office
Jae Kim is a First Vice President at CBRE, specializing in manufacturing, industrial, and logistics real estate across the Southeastern United States. His core focus areas include third-party logistics (3PL), and build-to-suit developments. He advises clients , including site selection, land and building acquisitions, tenant representation, and transaction services.
He is particularly recognized for his work with South Korean manufacturers, suppliers, and conglomerates expanding into the U.S. market. Leveraging his cross-cultural insight and industry expertise, Jae helps Korean firms establish and scale operations by providing strategic real estate guidance tailored to their specific operational and market-entry needs.
In addition to his private-sector work, Jae plays a key role in public-sector initiatives. He is part of the core team supporting Gwinnett County Government in the redevelopment of Gwinnett Place Mall, working in partnership with CBRE’s Public Institutional and Educational Services (PIES) group to prepare the County’s RFP. Together with PIES and the broader CBRE platform, Jae was instrumental in facilitating the County’s acquisition of the former Macy’s department store, a pivotal step in the site’s transformation. Given the strong Asian community presence in Gwinnett, Jae also leads community engagement efforts, ensuring that local voices and perspectives are incorporated into the County’s long-term vision for the redevelopment.
With a strong understanding of global supply chains and public-private partnerships, Jae partners with clients to develop real estate solutions that align with operational needs and long-term growth. His ability to connect corporate and community objectives with market opportunities makes him a trusted advisor to both domestic and international companies navigating evolving real estate markets.
