Cliff Bell is a Director with the Americas Consulting practice. He has experience in real estate strategy and consulting for regional, national, and global clients in various industries including banking, retail, healthcare, utilities, telecom, and manufacturing.

Cliff is currently helping clients achieve real estate, workforce, and operational efficiencies through portfolio strategy and optimization, dashboard solutions, location/market analysis, and M&A transfer management. He is experienced in corporate real estate transformation, portfolio optimization analysis, workplace utilization, benchmarking, and market analysis.

Prior to joining the Americas Consulting practice, Cliff was a dedicated strategist for a regional retail bank in the CBRE Global Workplace Solutions division. There he helped to create efficiencies for the client in a variety of disciplines including facilities management, project management, and transaction management and helped to redefine the benchmarking program for the Global Workplace Solutions team. Before CBRE, Cliff first joined the commercial real estate industry as a licensed salesperson for a boutique brokerage office in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

Cliff brings a varied background of experience and stays at the forefront of industry trends to bring value and creative solutions to his clients.

Representative Roles

  • Served as global program management lead in one of the largest corporate divestitures in history.
  • Performed site optimization study analyzing stay / reinvest and exit / move scenarios considering qualitative and quantitative variables for 300K SF multi-functional facility for large utility firm.
  • Executed annual valuation and market indicators of impairment study analyzing nearly 14M SF of regional retail bank’s portfolio.
  • Participated in organization wide refresh of super regional retail bank portfolio analysis and governance strategy. Developed corresponding dashboard for portfolio optimization candidate identification.
  • Developed and lead internal portfolio strategy community call series to integrate practice across company.
