James Keady is a real estate professional specializing in investment property sales and financing, with a focus on the multifamily market in Los Angeles County. As a California Licensed Real Estate Broker, he works with private investors, family offices, and sub-institutional professionals, providing strategies that reflect each client’s financial goals, risk tolerance, management responsibility, and lifestyle preferences.
James offers a full range of services including property valuation, acquisition and dispositions, 1031 exchange management, and guidance on tax optimization tools. Before entering real estate, James built diverse experience across education, finance, marketing, and sales. He began in 2008 teaching high school in New York City through Teach For America, an AmeriCorps program that helped him develop strong communication and leadership skills. In 2012, he joined AIG as an Associate Underwriter in Corporate Risk, where he refined his financial analysis capabilities. After returning to California in 2013, he held roles in finance and sales within the entertainment and software industries.
James joined CBRE in 2019 as a Capital Markets Investment Associate. Within his first six months, he was recognized with West LA’s Trailblazer designation for successfully launching his real estate practice.
