James Watkins

James Watkins is an Associate with the Anderson Brehaut Group, with a background in corporate real estate as well as national net lease assets. Mr. Watkins began his career in commercial real estate in 2021 winning the ROTY (Rookie of the Year) award at his previous firm. The title is highly coveted and demonstrates his rapid growth and knowledge in commercial real estate in just under a year of immersing himself into the industry. Amidst his early success Mr. Watkins found his niche focusing on cold storage & food/beverage related industrial real estate, representing family and founder owned companies and private equity groups. Mr. Watkins primarily focuses on structuring industrial sale leasebacks however he still actively transacts in the single tenant net lease space with over $15M of transactions completed in two years.

Mr. Watkins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban & Metropolitan Studies, with a minor in Real Estate, and a certificate in Public Administration from Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business.
