Janice Sloan

As Director of Business Operations for CBRE‘s Location Intelligence department, I manage the  department budget, HR-related functions, and internal communications and training for this analytics services group. As part of CBRE's Advisory & Transaction Services division, this group focuses on providing mapping and analytic services to our clients specific to site selection using various focused solutions within commercial Real Estate analytics. We utilize customized GIS systems to provide expansion strategies for occupiers and agencies across all company service lines.

Previously I served as the Senior Analyst on the Consumer Behavior Analytics team providing a highly specialized service offering market studies and customer behavior analysis tailored to a specific client’s needs. Implementing projects from start to finish, I have executed analysis as well as created and authored pitch materials, presentations and market studies that provided details on trends and consumer lifestyle behaviors incorporating demographics, segmentation and predictive analytics. I found working directly with clients in the process of helping make informed decisions on real estate very rewarding.

I rejoined CBRE in 2004 after working with Deloitte & Touche as a Consultant with the location advisory team for the real estate division.  My experience is wide-ranging within location and demographic analysis and GIS systems and applications.  Prior to Deloitte & Touche, I grew professionally through multiple positions over a 7-year period in the CBRE Research group holding positions at the National level, in the Southern California region and New York City.  My experience includes over 25 years in the information management field including primary research, staff management, statistical reporting, training & communication.
