Jason Green is a three-decade commercial real estate veteran and a recognized leader in the Portland market.

Jason began his career in 1995 with Grubb & Ellis (now Newmark), representing building owners and managing a leasing portfolio across several million square feet in Los Angeles' Miracle Mile and Mid-Wilshire districts. In 1999, he joined Studley (now Savills), shifting his focus to tenant representation and advising occupiers across the professional services, nonprofit, entertainment, aerospace, banking, finance, and healthcare sectors.

Jason joined CBRE in 2004, relocating to Portland to join a team representing both landlords and tenants across local, regional, and international accounts. Over the next decade, he rose from Associate to First Vice President, leading one of the market's top leasing teams and maintaining a portfolio exceeding 3.5 million square feet across Portland's central city and surrounding submarkets. He completed more than 300 transactions totaling over $1.5 billion in cumulative value.

Since 2014, Jason has served as Managing Director for Oregon and SW Washington, overseeing the Portland office's leasing, investment sales, and debt and structured finance professionals. Under his leadership, the office has achieved substantial and sustained top-line revenue growth. Jason's leadership approach emphasizes partnership over hierarchy — investing time early in professionals' careers, working alongside them to identify and develop their unique strengths. Several individuals he partnered with in this way have gone on to consistently be recognized as top sales and leasing professionals within the local and regional commercial real estate industry.

Civic Leadership

Beyond CBRE, Jason is an active civic leader in the Portland region. He served as Vice Chair of the Greater Portland Economic Development District (GPEDD), guiding regional economic development strategy across Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties in Oregon and Clark County in Washington. He currently serves on the Investment Committee of the 1803 Fund, backed by a $400 million pledge from Phil and Penny Knight to redevelop North and Northeast Portland's historic Albina neighborhood. Jason also holds current roles with the Portland Metro Chamber, Westside Economic Alliance, Educational Opportunities for Children & Families, and CREDA, alongside past board service with the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette and the Portland State University Center for Real Estate.
