Jay Austin is a Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Occupier Services team, specializing in global tenant representation, project leasing, industrial acquisitions, and portfolio sale‑leasebacks. Since joining CBRE in 2016, Jay has completed nearly 250 transactions totaling more than $1 billion in value. He has been recognized multiple times on the Austin Business Journal’s Heavy Hitters list (2019, 2021–2023).

A lifelong Austinite, Jay brings a unique blend of real estate expertise and technology experience. Before entering commercial real estate, he spent five years in the enterprise sales and account management. This background enables him to apply a data‑driven, innovative approach that consistently delivers forward‑looking strategies and measurable business outcomes for his clients. Jay’s commitment to trust, honesty, and transparency has solidified his reputation with his clients and the commercial real estate industry.

Outside of work, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and two sons. A passionate snow skier, he also enjoys running, golf, and time on Lake Austin. Jay is active in the Austin community through his involvement with KIPP Charter Schools and other local philanthropic initiatives.
