Jeff DeSano joined CBRE’s Global Corporate Services Group in 2007. Based in Detroit his responsibilities as Alliance Director of the Chrysler account include strategic consulting, account management, transaction management, lease administration, valuation services, idle property management, portfolio administration and project management for their entire dealership portfolio.
For the past five years prior to joining CBRE, Jeff was a principal in a real estate development company. Responsibilities included site selection, negotiations, financial analysis, financing, project management and disposition.
For the first 21 years of his career, Jeff held several management positions at General Motors Corporation’s Worldwide Real Estate. Responsibilities ranged from redevelopments, acquisitions and dispositions of all product types across the United States. Completed 100+ projects while at GM (four million square feet).
Over Jeff’s long career, he has participated in over 250 dealership transactions valued in excess of $500 million dollars. He has negotiated with hundreds of dealer principals and fully understands dealership real estate and network operations.
