Jesse Clanton currently holds the title of Vice President within CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services Group and serves the Southeast markets from the CBRE Nashville office. With approximately two decades of real estate appraisal and consulting experience, Mr. Clanton has served a wide array of clients which include banks and other financial institutions and lenders; pension funds, REITs, private and public investors, institutional clients; as well as developers, municipal and government agencies, legal firms, and a variety of major corporations. Mr. Clanton has also performed numerous consulting assignments and rent/market studies as well as feasibility studies for a broad list of clients, which include apartment/multi-family developers, major medical/hospital operators, retail developers and regional office developers.
Mr. Clanton’s experience encompasses a wide variety of property types including retail properties (net-lease, neighborhood centers, community centers, restaurants, branch banks, and regional malls), industrial properties (manufacturing, distribution, net-lease, and cold storage), office assets (general, medical, and net-lease), apartments (conventional and student housing), as well as special use properties. Jess has also worked on many complex portfolio assignments as well as subdivision sell-off analyzes, going-concern valuations, as well as appraising all of the different property rights of real estate (fee simple estate, leased fee interest, and leasehold interest).
Due to his extension work history and background, Mr. Clanton has become a recognized expert in the local and regional market, especially in the retail, office and industrial segments of the market. As a result, Mr. Clanton now serves on three national CBRE Valuation teams; the Retail Valuation & Advisory Services Group, CBRE’s National Office Valuation Team (also serves on the National Medical Office Valuation Team), and the CBRE Industrial Valuation & Advisory Services Group. Jess’s attention to detail and focus on quality, along with his dedication to his clients needs has positioned him as one of CBRE’s top revenue-generating appraisers.
