Joanne Au manages all business-critical operations, contracts, risk assessments, and vendor relationships for CBRE’s National Loan & Portfolio Sale Advisory practice. As a tenured professional on the team since 2013, Joanne also partners closely with the lead principals to customize and deliver bespoke information/workflow strategies that address their client’s sales goals & objectives.
Joanne has been instrumental in the successful execution of over $15 billion in loan and real estate portfolio sales in her career. Her historical client and product sale advisory experience includes a diverse selection of regulated and unregulated institutions/entities regarding their specific asset holdings in a capital stack.
Having spent nearly a decade on the team, Joanne also specializes in complex transaction management - from client engagement to sale closing - and production of marketing materials on the sell-side. She provides training and supervision of support staff and works hand-in-hand with the sale advisory leads to create valuation pitchbooks and execute sale marketing campaigns.
Prior to joining CBRE, Joanne was a seasoned paralegal of a boutique law firm outside of Washington, DC, specializing in civil and family law.
