Since joining CBRE in 2017, Joey’s natural leadership and innate ability to develop relationships has positioned him as an emerging broker in Silicon Valley.
Joey spent two years leading the research team in CBRE’s San Jose office, where he emphasized data integrity and employee development. His diligence and attention to detail kept the research team on top of market changes, which enabled brokers to be better informed and draw on more accurate insights that in turn, better positioned them as strategic advisors to clients.
Joey later transitioned to brokerage, leveraging his data-driven background to provide statistical and economic projections to clients – often educating and advising clients on opportunities they would not have otherwise identified. His service-oriented demeanor and deep, analytical approach enables him to take a very client-focused approach. As a result, Joey deeply understands clients’ objectives and helps them align their business goals with their real estate objectives.
Joey has partnered with some of CBRE’s top brokers in Silicon Valley, including Chip Sutherland and Sherman Chan. Their guidance and coaching has enabled Joey to transact with some of the largest occupiers and landlords in the market. For example, he worked with a young client in their mid-20s who started her own beauty e-commerce business and needed warehouse space. This was her first exposure to commercial real estate, so Joey advised her how the right warehouse space can supplement her business strategy.
