John Barreto

John Barreto is a member of CBRE’s Global and National Client Solutions team within the Valuation & Advisory Services (VAS) platform, supporting all client types in the private sector across diverse markets worldwide. Based in Denver, Colorado, John is intuitively integrated into the VAS division providing numerous marketing & operational responsibilities in every facet of commercial real estate.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, John has built his career with a reputation for being a central hub of communications and a trusted resource for both executives and clients. He combines an analytical mindset with creative execution, producing high-impact marketing strategies while implementing systems and workflows that enhance daily operations.

John is a proven marketing leader with over 18 years of expertise in creating, implementing, and managing several types of marketing mediums to drive value and enhance positioning with clear-concise messaging. This includes marketing campaigns, social media campaigns, global rebranding, global & national capabilities collateral, various pitches, template design, execution of various deliverables including RFP/RFQ/RFI management and submissions (global and national), customized proposals, conference, and other event strategies, amongst other key initiatives and company wide goals. John also conveys a deep expertise in B2B marketing, computer and AI technology, campaign management, and project management. He partners with private-sector clients nationwide to deliver innovative solutions that strengthen client relationships and drive operational excellence.

Beyond his professional role, John is passionate about community growth and development. He also enjoys exploring and hiking to many National and Statewide Parks in Colorado with his dog, has a loving wife and is a father of two boys, plus he enjoys basketball and soccer.
