John Cherry is a Senior Director, Quality and Risk Management, of the Valuation & Advisory Services within the East Division. Located in the CBRE Atlanta office since 2010, Mr. Cherry has over 45 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience throughout the Southeast US, with primary experience in the state of GA. Mr. Cherry is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and is a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE). He also has provided expert witness testimony in the Circuit Courts – State of Georgia and United States Bankruptcy Courts. Mr. Cherry is past president of Georgia Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and past Chairman of the Georgia Chapter of The Counselors of Real Estate.
Mr. Cherry works with other management level personnel and the valuation and advisory staff in the East Division to provide exceptional quality appraisal work and client service. He also participates in new business development, client relations and appraisal quality control production and appraisal review.
Mr. Cherry is a licensed Certified General Appraiser in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
