John L. Moake

John L. Moake leads several Project Leasing and Tenant Representation efforts. In a career spanning more than fifteen years, John has positioned himself as a top producer and trusted real estate consultant for his clients and customers.

John joined CBRE in 2019 through its acquisition of REATA Real Estate. In his role as Partner at REATA, he managed a retail leasing portfolio consisting of more than one million square feet, executed an active Tenant Representation business, demonstrated success in sourcing and servicing new brokerage accounts while providing oversite and management to the firm's broker associate training program.

Prior to joining REATA, John served as Vice President at Birnbaum Property Company, a San Antonio based retail development company. In that role, John lead efforts in the company's in-house leasing program and helped establish a significant tenant representation business. During this tenure, John's responsibilities expanded to include, alongside his brokerage business, a role as Director of Property Management. In that capacity, John was responsible for the management, accounting and reporting functions for over 1.5 million square feet of retail, industrial and office assets in greater San Antonio.

Away from the office, John currently serves as Development Chair on the board of Harper's Embrace Lifesaver Program (H.E.L.P.), a nonprofit organization which provides free CPR education across San Antonio and Central Texas.
