John L. Moake

John Moake serves as Managing Director and Market Leader for CBRE’s San Antonio and South Texas business. In this role, John oversees business operations and drives strategy for all Advisory Services lines of business, including investor and occupier leasing, capital markets, property management, project management and valuations.

John leverages his deep local insights in combination with global CBRE resources to deliver unparalleled value to investors, developers and occupiers navigating an evolving commercial real estate landscape. With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience as both a high-performing producer and business leader, he is dedicated to championing a culture of innovation, collaboration and client-centric excellence to deliver exceptional outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

John joined CBRE in November 2019 through the acquisition of REATA Real Estate, where he served as a Partner. Prior to his current role at CBRE as market leader, John served as a First Vice President, orchestrating project leasing and tenant representation mandates for investors, developers and marquee retailers.

As a lifelong San Antonian, John is passionate about furthering the growth of the region. He sits on the Real Estate Counsel of San Antonio’s President Council to advocate for municipal and state policies that support responsible growth and foster sustainable real estate development. John also sits on the Greater SATX Global Corporate Recruitment Advisory Council, which helps direct investment and initiate strategy for corporate recruitment to the greater San Antonio area.
