As the Global Alliance Director, Jay is currently Leading a global Team, responsible for driving a full suite of real estate solutions and facilities services for a Fortune 200 manufacturing company with a portfolio of 34MM square feet, spanning 52 countries. In close collaboration with our client, under our remit, we are transforming business outcomes through integrated strategies and technologies including IFM, Energy & Sustainability, Project Management, Occupancy & Space planning, hospitality services and Transaction Management. Driving great client outcomes through a high-performing team of 830+ real estate professionals globally and an operating budget of $200 million.
Jay joined CBRE through the Trammell Crow Company merger in December 2006. He joined the TCC team in June 2001 upon Bank of America’s Outsourcing Partner consolidation initiative. While serving 13 years on the Bank of America account, he held the positions of Director of Energy & Sustainability and Environmental Risk (EHS), Director of Critical Facilities, Regional Director (Mid-Atlantic), Director of Engineering and Transition Team Lead for MBNA…a Bank of America acquisition.
Global Alliance Director
Leading a global Team with responsibilities for the provision of corporate real estate solutions and facilities services across a large global Information Technology Company with a portfolio of 17MM square feet, spanning 80 countries. Working closely with our client to transform business requirements into actionable strategies, delivered through a global Team of 800+ real estate professionals and an operating budget of ~$200 million, our Team executes IFM strategies that include Occupancy & Space planning, Energy & Sustainability and Portfolio & Change Management services.
Alliance Director
Led a Team of ~200 Professionals to deliver a comprehensive suite of Facilities Management, Project Management and Transaction Management solutions across Truist Financial’ s 26MSF portfolio of office and retail assets under a $500M capital and expense plan. Partnered with Client to drive down occupancy expense in excess of $125M via a portfolio optimization strategy - exceeding original target of $85M while delivering a year earlier. Responsible for the implementation of energy reduction utility procurement strategies driving ~$12M bottom line run rate savings over four years.
Director of Operations
Supported the JPMC account where he oversaw and provided strategic direction to a team of over 500 professionals responsible for Facility Management, Engineering and Energy & Sustainability services across ~44M SF portfolio comprised of office and retail locations. Responsible for an operating budget of $500M and savings glidepath commitments.
GWS Client Solutions (Northeast)
As Managing Director of Global Workplace Solutions Client Solutions activities in the Northeast of the United States, Jay focused on growing CBRE business across the Corporate Occupier segment bringing over 18 years of experience in portfolio management, portfolio optimization and occupancy expense reduction.
Bank of America
As the Director of Critical Facilities (8 years), Jay’s span-of-control included the O&M, design, commissioning, and critical awareness program. Additionally, Jay had direct project and facility management responsibilities for three Tier 1 Data Centers (~1MSF white space). During this time, Jay served on CBRE’s subject matter expert (SME) board representing critical facilities. Additionally, Jay developed and managed an Energy & Sustainability, inclusive of Environmental Risk, platform whereby his team developed and executed projects, processes, and strategies to drive exceptional energy and carbon reduction outcomes across portfolio globally in support of co-authored client goals.
