Jon Smith is the Director of Transaction Management for Sysco Corporation. In this role, he provides strategic portfolio planning and guides full-scope transactional implementation on an international basis for the Fortune 100 company, which holds 54 million sq. ft. of industrial multi-temperature cold storage, distribution, office, retail, and support sites for the third largest supply chain fleet in the US.
Since joining CBRE in 2019, Jon has guided corporate real estate transactions in North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean for assets in the oil & gas, public accounting, shipping and logistics, aerospace manufacturing, and banking sectors. Jon has a track record of providing successful solutions by concentrating all efforts on transactional process bespoke to the client, thorough financial analysis, stakeholder collaboration. Before joining CBRE, he worked in the Southern Louisiana market, focusing on investing in net-leased investment properties across a broad spectrum of asset classes.
Before entering commercial real estate in 2010, Jon spent fifteen years in the fine wine industry, where he oversaw all business in the southeastern U.S. for a publicly-traded global wine corporation based in California’s Napa Valley. Additionally, he founded and operated a chain of retail wine stores in southern Louisiana.
