Jordan Marrone

Mr. Marrone is currently the lead Project Manager for Yale New Haven Health at Milford Hospital. His team is responsible for managing all CAPEX projects on campus which largely entails critical infrastructure upgrades as well as significant updates of the recently acquired system to meet the current YNHH design standards. Some of these projects include a new cooling tower, boiler replacement, generator fuel tank replacement, BMS upgrade, partial radiology renovation for a new CT scanner and lobby modernization. Additionally, Mr. Marrone’s team is overseeing the renovation of a previously deactivated suite to house a new 11,000 SF 12 bed, age-friendly inpatient nursing unit. His team is instrumental in the design development process, establishing programmatic requirements with business unit stakeholders and collaborating with the design team to achieve owner objectives.

Mr. Marrone operated as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Boston Scientific overseeing their global projects across their real estate portfolio in AMER, EMEA and APAC, reporting directly to their senior leadership group. He worked with CBRE’s Transaction Management Team to integrate both the transaction and advisory services for the client. Project Management was brought on early to work with the RE team through the pre-lease, due diligence process and help mitigate risk throughout the lifecycle of every project. Mr. Marrone successfully worked with the local delivery teams to drive consistency across Boston Scientific’s dispersed portfolio.

Mr. Marrone was the lead Project Manager for Edgewell Personal Care’s Headquarters in Connecticut. He managed the design and construction of their corporate interior renovations and office consolidation project. The objective was to reduce Edgewell’s footprint in Shelton from 81,000 SF of traditional office space, to a modern-day 54,0000 SF open environment setting that promotes collaboration across departments. Their new layout includes over 270 workstations, huddle/focus rooms, a large multi-purpose/training room and plenty of conference space with state-of-the-art AV technology. Mr. Marrone was instrumental in the design development, established programming objectives with business stakeholders and collaborated with the design team to achieve owner requirements.

Mr. Marrone led the repositioning efforts of the Stamford Towers as the lead Project Manager for CBRE Global Investors’. These two Class A properties totaling 325,000 SF were acquired by CBRE with the goal of infusing new capital funds into the assets in effort to bring up occupancy by providing amenities that appeal to the modern-day workforce. CAPEX improvements include lobby modernizations, creation of an exterior plaza, HVAC/BMS upgrades and replacements, elevator enhancements, garage repairs, roof replacements and common area renovations. Mr. Marrone monitored all costs associated with the capital projects and was responsible for making recommendations regarding project scope to ensure expenditures added value to the assets.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Marrone was a Project Manager for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and worked on the tenant fit-out and customization of a new 426,000 SF facility including 75,000 SF of lab space for Alexion Pharmaceutical’s Global Headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut. Prior to starting work, he performed preconstruction cost studies during design development to determine optimal design and overall value. Mr. Marrone managed the construction budget and reconciled projected costs against actual costs. He interfaced with the client’s decision makers, stakeholders and user groups to understand, determine, and define needs, implemented end user customization of occupied spaces and responded to on-call changes.
