Josh Caruana serves as the Senior Managing Director overseeing CBRE’s Los Angeles North region, which includes the Glendale, Woodland Hills, and Oxnard offices. In this role, he leads the strategic direction and day-to-day operations for all Advisory Services business lines spanning leasing, sales, valuations, debt, and structured finance, and property management across all commercial property types in the region. His leadership focuses on expanding CBRE’s market presence across the San Fernando Valley, Tri Cities, and Ventura County, strengthening the firm’s foundation in one of Southern California’s most dynamic commercial corridors.

Josh brings extensive leadership experience in commercial real estate and a proven track record of building high-performing teams, scaling markets, and driving operational excellence.

Before joining CBRE, Josh spent over two decades at Marcus & Millichap, advancing through a series of leadership roles across brokerage, talent development, and regional management. He began his career as a Senior Associate specializing in multifamily investments, then moved into management as a Sales Manager in Long Beach, where he strengthened talent pipelines and boosted production.

His success in these roles led to his selection to spearhead the Indianapolis office, where he played a key role in driving the firm’s significant Midwest expansion. Building on this momentum, Josh was ultimately elevated to First Vice President and Regional Manager, overseeing five markets in the Central Midwest region, including Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Louisville, Kansas City, and St. Louis, with responsibility for sales, recruitment, training, and operational performance.

Josh is known for his data-driven, talent-focused leadership style. At Marcus & Millichap, he helped pioneer initiatives such as the Military Bridge to Brokerage Program, helping veterans transition into careers in commercial real estate. His leadership philosophy emphasizes mentorship, market specialization, operational rigor, and coaching high-potential producers, consistently delivering measurable growth across markets.
