Mr. Josh Wagner, MAI is an Executive Vice President in CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services Group based in Houston, Texas. Mr. Wagner’s primary focus will be the Valuations for Financial & Tax Reporting practice and will be servicing clients globally.
Josh primarily focuses real estate valuation and consulting for institutional owners, operators and investors and has completed engagements throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. Josh has significant experience in valuations for financial reporting and tax reporting, including purchase price allocations and impairments.
Mr. Wagner has conducted and managed countless valuations for financial and tax reporting purposes which are subject to various reporting standards that include FASB, IASB, IFRS, IRS, SEC, IACPA and others. Mr. Wagner has expertise in valuing a wide range of properties and debt instruments. Experiences include investment grade assets such as light industrial and bulk warehouses, R&D buildings, office buildings, limited and full-service hotels, shopping centers, malls, NNN and absolute net properties, and multifamily properties. Josh also has experience valuing a variety of special-use properties medical office buildings, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, hospitals, mixed-use properties, and subdivisions. With over 450 valuations offices worldwide, CBRE can assure an effective combination of local market knowledge and specialized valuation expertise anywhere our clients have property.
Prior to joining CBRE, Josh was a Director at Grant Thornton Advisors LLC where he focused on valuations for financial reporting and tax reporting as well as assisting the audit team as a valuation specialist. Prior to Grant Thornton, Josh worked in the real estate valuation and advisory practices of Duff & Phelps.
