Katie McDermott Beard

Katie is a member of the Cincinnati Multi-Market Advisory & Transaction Management Team. She provides multi-market advisory services to national retail and office space occupiers with an emphasis in managing high priority transaction initiatives. Katie provides strategic planning, transaction execution, account management and ongoing portfolio optimization programs for corporations and public entities.

Katie manages Kroger’s national dispositions and third-party leasing, serving in a leadership capacity, while working with multiple transaction professionals to service the account. In Addition, Katie works alongside Kevin Torch in managing Fifth Third Bank’s surplus property dispositions, lease renewals and retail acquisition program. Using a single point of contact model and providing a best-in-class field brokerage network are keys to managing these programs successfully.

Prior to joining CBRE, Katie worked at Great American Insurance Group in their Corporate Real Estate Department. Katie graduated from the University of Kentucky.

Over her career, Katie and her team have delivered over $250 million in client savings through portfolio optimization programs ranging from lease restructuring, strategic acquisitions or relocations, M&A consulting and surplus property dispositions. Katie and her team complete over 400 transactions annually.
