Keith Elam joined CBRE in 2018, and in less than two and a half years rose from Managing Director to Global Alliance Director for the company’s Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) account supporting the world’s largest online retailer. Keith leads a team of 4,400+ and is directly responsible for growing client relationships and overseeing the global services managed by CBRE including: global real estate facilities management, portfolio planning, project management, energy, reliability maintenance engineering, transaction management, and more. With a steadfast commitment to prioritizing people, Keith has cultivated a reputation for attracting and developing exceptional leaders. His leadership ethos champions continuous improvement and maintains a relentless focus on customer satisfaction being vital to success.
Before joining CBRE, Keith spent over two decades as a supply chain executive across diverse sectors including: retail, manufacturing, e-commerce and technology. Renowned for his innovative leadership, Keith oversaw all facets of logistics operations, collaborating with third-party providers and managing both domestic and international operations, outbound transportation, and post-sales functions. He successfully led several product launches and developed best-in-class metrics and processes, facilitating e-commerce growth and channel expansion. Keith’s adeptness in navigating intricate projects, controlling costs, and catering to varied customer segments is evident throughout his career. Notably, he spearheaded the operations development of one of the largest e-commerce distribution centers in North America.
