As Director of Project Management for Confidential Gas and Oil Client Account Team, Ken is accountable for the projects team leadership to manage the account's 1.6 million square feet, mixed-use, critical facility that includes laboratory, research and development, office, conference center, cafeteria and central plant w/cogeneration space located on 180 acres with a remote call center.  All facilities operate 24/7, 365 days a year.  Responsibilities include providing direction on overall planning and execution of complex engineering, construction and utility projects, overseeing and implementation of the annual capital and expense budgets and long term capital improvement plan, advising the client team of operational efficiencies and value tracking for project, efficiency and operational savings.  Space planning management to include strategy services, building and campus analysis, design, scheduling, budgeting, engineering, construction, FF&E and client move-in. 

Ken’s successes are attributed  to his systematic approach to project management essentials using the capital value process (CVP) and his attention to detail.  Additional responsibilities include proper vetting of vendors through the RFQ process, vendor reviews, HSE and risk mitigations.  Ken has lead and participates in many corporate and client-based continuous improvement initiatives from developing new policies and procedures to auditing such as the Exemplar Initiative, Management of Change, sharing lessons learned, safety guidelines, implementation of BP’s Operating Management System (OMS) and Document Management Systems.  Working within the BP Account has provided Ken with multi-dimensional mechanical and electrical experience through detailed planning of asset replacements.  Ken’s vast knowledge and experience with a wide array of projects has been a great asset to the team. 

Ken has held positions with increased responsibilities; Senior Project Manager, Project Manager and Superintendent working primarily within the development and real estate platforms but also has worked for a commercial general contracting firm.  Ken has overseen projects ranging in size from 10,000 square feet to 80-acre developments.  He has also completed a wide variety of unique projects from a Cogeneration engine and controls exchange to a building automation system upgrade.  Other construction experiences are in shell construction for turnkey projects from the ground up, tenant interiors, multi-story mixed use facilities, lifestyle retail centers, office complexes, manufacturing/industrial facilities and warehouse space.  He also has experience in environmental cleanup sites, school construction and religious facilities.  His responsibilities include all facets of project management; pre-construction services, budget, schedule, safety, and site supervision.  He also served over eight years as an officer with the US Army Corps of Engineers and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain.
