I joined CBRE in May 2020 as Vice President, Debt & Structured Finance in Atlantic Canada. I specialize in advising clients on structuring CMHC-insured financing solutions, leveraging the in-depth knowledge of the CMHC Mortgage Loan Insurance program that I acquired in the various senior management positions I held at Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation from 2006 to 2018.
Prior to joining CBRE, I participated in the origination of just under $1 billion in CMHC-insured commercial mortgages over a two-year period with a Canadian mortgage services company. Although I arrange financing across all asset classes, I have a particular focus on multi-unit residential properties including apartments, seniors housing, student housing and affordable housing across various financing types such as, land, construction, term take-out, purchase and refinance.
I have worked with institutional investors, REITs and private developers in my 20 years working in the financial sector, having established myself as an expert in the multi-residential market and a trusted advisor to my clients and industry colleagues.

CBRE Capital’s Halifax-based Debt & Structured Finance team partners with Borrowers and Lenders to structure and fund land, construction, and term loans across all real estate asset classes, including multi-family, single-family, industrial, retail, and office. With well over half a century of combined experience, the team delivers tailored financing strategies backed by deep market insight.
In 2023, CBRE Capital became a CMHC Approved Lender and launched its lending platform, expanding access to a broad network of Investor partners with appetite for both floating and term loans. This flexibility allows the team to align financing solutions with each Borrower’s unique objectives.
The team has arranged more than $2.0 billion in commercial mortgages and $1.2 billion in CMHC-insured loans, leveraging strong lender relationships and CBRE’s global platform to deliver exceptional results. Collaboration with CBRE’s National DSF group and Atlantic Canada’s Capital Markets team ensures seamless execution and comprehensive regional coverage.
