The property had been in the Lubotsky Family since 1961 and in 2002 it became the principle asset in the Max M. Lubotsky Trust. As a trustee, I had been deeply involved in attempts to sell the property since 2005 and had worked with four realtors prior to Kurt without success.
Kurt was clear about the price range we could expect to make a sale, and if we accepted that range, he promised that he could sell it in 2014. We relied on Kurt’s knowledge and expertise and Kurt lived up to his promise in every way.
Kurt managed the entire process from negotiating the offer through the closing and he worked relentlessly and put in whatever time and effort that it took to reach a successful closing. He always maintained the highest level of professionalism and his communications were consistently clear and expressed in a timely manner. I have nothing but positive things to say about Kurt as a person and a real estate professional.” – Robert Lubotsky, Trustee, Max M. Lubotsky Trust
“We closed this afternoon on the piece east of the shopping center on Greenfield Ave. As usual, Kurt Klapperich did his thoroughly professional, 110% effort, efficient job representing us as the buyer. I just want you to reinforce what you already know; Kurt is a real credit to your CBRE operation and an example of what a Real Estate Broker should be.” – Mark Brickman
“Kurt is a great asset to me and my clients. He is very knowledgeable and thorough which saves my clients money because much of the information gathering and due diligence that I would perform, Kurt already has done before getting me involved. Kurt is creative and finds a way to accomplish his client’s goals. He will work hard to find the right property, find the right buyer, or work out the best deal. He’s a long-term thinker.” – Susan C. Sorrentino, SRB Law Group
“I know that everybody works very hard and we all get satisfaction when we pursue an account and win the business. I am going to single out Kurt Klapperich for a couple of reasons and winning the Wisconsin Vehicle Emissions Business. First of all, as we all know, Kurt is one of the most loyal and dedicated people any of us could ever be associated with. He is just an outstanding person and I have enjoyed my over 20-year relationship with him. Kurt has always been the person working the ‘street’, taking assignments that maybe are not as lucrative as others, but are necessary for the office and our credibility…He has always defined the term ‘team player.’ Over the last several months, Kurt has been, along with Doug Jones from our CB Chicago office, going after, for lack of a better term, the Wisconsin Emissions Program business on behalf of Applus. In addition to winning the business, Kurt was singled out for being instrumental in securing the business… He was described as being ‘unbelievably efficient, detailed, and accurate.’ We should all be very proud of Kurt and how he has represented the firm. He has made all of us look good.” – Max J. Rasansky, CBRE
“May I acknowledge how much my brother Tom and I appreciated the sales help of Kurt Klapperich to sell our two office buildings on South Howell Avenue.
We initially went with a different broker who listed the property without doing a financial spread sheet and took our number, which we learned later, was way too high. That wasted 6 months.
Kurt came on the scene as recommended by another owner of a neighboring building that he had sold some years earlier.
The CBRE sign went up and I expected the phone to ring. I was wrong as there were no calls from the sign over the entire 11 months of our sales process.
Every showing came from Kurt’s 33 years of working with and networking with his current and referral customer base.
Not once in any of the building tours did Kurt deviate from his knowledge of the property or his financial notes to back up our listed sale price. He remembered every detail he had picked up and included them in his presentation. The prospect would be off track or confused and Kurt would be right back to his facts.
I learned a lot about how his contacts with the right people and his stick to it attitude made these buildings sell. Yes it helps to have a well maintained property but his extra touch made it happen.
Both buildings sold for the full asking price with no concessions thanks to Kurt’s last efforts as the sale was not really done until they were fully confident in their decision, Kurt kept enforcing the positive numbers for this to happen.
Now with the buildings sold after 40 years of owner/manager and 52 years in the insurance business I will retire on August 1, 2017. Kurt helped make this possible.
I should include how much extra time and effort Kurt and I spent clearing up the title/deed on the last building as it was never recorded properly. Kurt found us an attorney who in 2 days had us ready to close.
I will refer Kurt Klapperich to anyone who would like to sell their commercial property. We could not have done this without him. – Bruce and Thomas Robertso
“Over the last few years we have sold several commercial buildings in the Milwaukee area. The properties were all built and operated by our company, mainly office buildings. We had the good fortune of having Kurt Klapperich as our broker. It was no easy task to find buyers in the tough market place but Kurt did an excellent job getting us through the process. It’s been such a positive experience dealing with Kurt both on the professional and the personal level. A great guy whom we recommend to anyone looking to sell or buy commercial real estate.” – Karl Ekman, Sterling Hasey Company
The Garbo Family Limited Partnership would like to thank Kurt. M Klapperich, a commercial real estate broker from CBRE brokerage for the great services rendered in the selling of two of our auto dealership properties. His knowledge, enthusiasm and follow-thru were second to none. If any desire to sell or lease any parcels, the Garbo Family Limited Partnership would highly recommend Kurt to secure, list and certainly sell your parcel. Many thanks again Kurt for the great job that you performed for us. – The Garbo Family
