Kyle Kovac is Executive Vice President of Capital Markets at CBRE. He specializes in the disposition of investment and development properties in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Kovac has closed in excess of $10 billion of transaction volume on behalf of both institutional and private clients. Kyle’s primary focus includes investment sales, corporate user sales, development sales, and equity raises for all commercial property types across the Bay Area. As a partner on CBRE’s exclusive global capital team, Kyle regularly communicates with oversees investors and colleagues.
Kyle has led many of San Francisco’s most high-profile office sale transactions since he began his career in 2006. In fact, the San Francisco Business Times recognized the accomplishments of Mr. Kovac and his business partner Michael Taquino by naming them “2018 Brokers of the Year”. In 2021, PG&E tapped Kovac’s team to sell their 1.9 million square foot San Francisco office campus which traded for $800 million – marking one of the largest property sales in the City’s history.
With nearly 20 years of real estate experience, Mr. Kovac’s expertise is evidenced by his speaking engagements and contributions for industry and educational organizations including the Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Chronicle, SFBT, Bloomberg, and University of California. Kyle is the featured real estate contributor for the City & County of San Francisco’s annual Economic Forecast and is a member of the UC Berkeley Fisher Center Advisory Board for Real Estate and Urban Economics.
Kyle is involved in many charitable causes most notably the Northern California chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). Kyle lives with his wife and three daughters in San Francisco.
