Laura Gantz

Laura became the principal legal contact for Asset Services leadership in the Americas in October 2014. She is responsible for the development of best legal practices for the negotiation and implementation of Asset Services agreements throughout the Americas, the expansion of legal-related training for Asset Services, and continued negotiation of property management agreements both at the regional and national level. Before holding this position, Laura was Senior Counsel for the East Division within CBRE, providing counsel and guidance on various legal aspects of business activities within CBRE, including advising managers and executives on compliance and risk assessment issues, negotiating and drafting contracts and other agreements, and providing training to the brokerage and asset services professionals.

Prior to joining CBRE in 2005, Laura worked for three years as Legal Counsel for Friedman Properties, Ltd. a real estate developer which specializes in historic redevelopments in Chicago, Illinois. There she was charged with drafting and negotiating office and retail leases and construction and license agreements. Laura also worked with commercial tenants and their attorneys to address various opportunities and challenges and advised the executives on a variety of legal issues affecting their day-to-day business activities and decisions.

Laura graduated from the University of Iowa, where she majored in History, and obtained her law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
