Laura Taylor is a Senior Director of Transaction Management dedicated to serving CBRE’s DFW Advisory & Transaction Services group. She joined CBRE in 2014, previously serving as a Transaction Manager and Contract Negotiator on a CBRE Global Workplace Solutions account for U.S. and global commercial and retail locations, and Legal Liaison for a Dallas-based Advisory & Transaction Services team as well as a Denver-based Advisory & Transaction Services team. As a licensed attorney with a bachelor’s degree in business management and Juris Doctor, Laura’s primary focus is assisting CBRE client in-house and outside counsel to ensure quality, speed and efficiency in managing their real estate agreements.
Laura has served over 150 CBRE clients to-date, utilizing her legal background and lease know-how to assist CBRE client’s legal counsel throughout real estate document negotiation processes offering expertise on market trends, language solutions, and risk and cost avoidance. She has assisted in negotiations of over 5,000 real estate agreements for a wide array of organizations and properties, from office to industrial, data to healthcare, other mixed-use facilities and beyond. She serves as a vital member of the Dallas-Fort Worth team by reviewing, redlining, drafting modifying and developing all relevant contracts/leases; utilizing corporate and client critical document guidelines and best practices; and developing strong relationships with CBRE clients. While Laura does not provide legal representation, she brings her unique skill set to provide quality and make the real estate process more efficient.
