Lisa Konieczka focuses on the delivery of transaction based real estate services to corporate clients across the globe. She employs a strategic planning approach towards real estate service delivery. This philosophy drives real estate activities to support corporate business goals and operating strategy, with a focus on KPI’s, occupancy strategies and flexibility challenges associated with growth and change. Lisa specializes in advising her corporate clients on real estate strategies for large corporate facilities integrating key occupancy needs, while evaluating financial ramifications to understand the overall impact of each real estate strategy to her clients’ financial goals.

In early 2011, Lisa completed a 220,000 sublease of Banker’s Life and Casualty’s headquarters space, coupled with a relocation for Banker’s Life to a 135,000 SF space in the East Loop. Lisa also completed a 266,000 square foot lease for KPMG in early 2009, providing KPMG with a unique opportunity to secure a high profile, cost effective solution in an existing building while many other large tenants in the market were left without viable occupancy alternatives due to uncertain financing environments causing a complete halt of new construction in Chicago. 2007 was also a landmark year as she represented AT&T in a sale-leaseback of 972,257 SF; Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in a renewal of its 214,474 SF Headquarters at 225 N. Michigan Avenue and Bankers Life and Casualty Company in a 207,536 SF renewal and consolidation at 600 W. Chicago Avenue.

In 2005, Lisa completed over 1,500,000 square feet of transactions nationally, including a 500,000 + square foot build to suit distribution facility for CDW in North Las Vegas. Other notable transactions include a 200,000 square foot office lease for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and a 312,000 square foot office lease for CDW, both in downtown Chicago.

In addition to Lisa’s many nonprofit board positions, she is the founder and chairman of CBRE’s Women’s Network and a member of CBRE’s Diversity Council. This organization provides professional development, networking, education, and philanthropic opportunities for CBRE female employees.
