Liz Melendez

Liz Melendez is Project Management Director at CBRE. In July 2018, she transitioned from CBRE’s New York office to Miami to lead all Project Management activities and business strategy locally.

Ms. Melendez joined CBRE in 2015 as Director of Project Management in New York. In this role, she was part of the core management team focusing on the development of project management business in the New York Tri-State Area. She has represented public and private clients in a wide range of assignments that include capital investment projects and commercial tenant fit outs. Her clients have been representative of various commercial sectors and included Aon, Accenture, Alston & Bird and the City of New York. Ms. Melendez has more than 18 years of experience working in Urban Development, having worked for the Department of Transportation and Public Works in Puerto Rico as Deputy Secretary of Urban Development.

Ms. Melendez graduated from Harvard University with a Master of Architecture in Urban Design and Planning, from Syracuse University with a Master of Architecture and from the University of Puerto Rico School with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design.
