Lynn Murphy serves as the business development analyst on Vice Chairman, Sacha Zarba’s team in CBRE’s midtown office. With nearly 30 years’ experience in the client/customer service, and computer & technology industries, Lynn supports the team by providing research and in-depth client analysis and market data — enabling her colleagues to define and develop strategic, data-driven solutions for their clients. Lynn plays an active role in all aspects of the client engagement process by gathering information, maintaining the client, prospect and leasing databases, and creating materials for existing and prospective clients. She is the primary point of contact for all data requirements including information related to accounting, transaction management, marketing and research.

Lynn first joined CBRE in 2001 as a senior administrative assistant and shortly thereafter was promoted to client services coordinator where key responsibilities included coordinating training, processing expense reports, generating letters, memoranda and forms of a complex and confidential nature, researching and vetting data for real estate contracts and surveys, vouchers processing and transaction management collaboration, and proposal revisions for several top-producing corporate brokers. She was also responsible for managing the team’s marketing efforts including implementing corporate branding, presentations, mapping and professional resumes, as well as coordinating the development of pitch/promotional materials with the marketing team.

Prior to joining CBRE, Lynn was a senior account representative for Merrill Direct, a subsidiary of Merrill Corporation (rebranded Datasite) providing information technology services while offering secure content sharing, document and data management, litigation support, and communication programs. Her primary  responsibilities included coordinating marketing presentations to potential clients and providing technical support to existing customers experiencing difficulties while utilizing Merrill’s online platform and Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) EDGAR system.  Lynn also managed all part-time and contract account representatives, prepared employees work schedules and managed workload distribution, handled all department complaints or grievances, and authorized account refunds and credits concerning account disputes.
