Mark Davenport is an Executive Vice President with CBRE’s Advisory and Transaction Services practice specializing in sale and lease transactions and portfolio optimization for corporate occupier clients. To date, Mark has personally negotiated over $500 million in office, industrial, and land transactions, and has advised a number of Fortune 500 occupier clients on location strategy, portfolio rationalization, and process improvement initiatives. Prior to joining CBRE, Mark led master planning efforts for 30+ million square feet of corporate and institutional assets including headquarters campuses for several Fortune 100 companies.

Mark spent the early years of his career in the fields of architecture, strategic planning, engineering, and project management, working on assignments across the US, in Mexico, and in the UK. In each arena and at each opportunity, Mark sought to advance the state of the practice through innovative approaches that challenged convention. Beginning with his early contributions to the science of energy-efficient building design to his subsequent creation of real estate analysis and planning software, Mark embraced the application of technology to improve processes, develop data-driven solutions, and serve his clients’ interests.

Mark joined CBRE in 1999 for the opportunity to help develop the Atlanta office’s emerging corporate services practice. Applying his multidisciplinary expertise, along with an intuitive problem-solving ability, Mark helped forge creative and resilient real estate solutions for a diverse group of occupier clients. To this day, Mark continues to look for innovative and more effective ways to address his clients’ most challenging real estate issues—and to do so with talented people in a team setting.

After living in Atlanta for over 40 years, Mark recently moved back to his hometown of Miami, Florida. He resides there with his wife, Nery Suarez. Mark continues to enjoy challenging assignments across the Southeast and at home—especially grandparenting.
