Mr. McGovern is a member of CBRE Capital Markets Institutional Properties in Southern California, placing equity and debt on all product types in the western United States. During the course of his career, Mr. McGovern has completed more than $5 billion in commercial real estate transactions. He represents local and national real estate developers, owners and REITs. Capital sources include life insurance companies, pension funds, Wall Street investment banks, high-yield debt funds and regional banks. Structures vary from joint venture equity, mezzanine and construction loans to acquisition and stabilized, longer-term loans.
