Mark Tekirian, MAI

Mr. Tekirian is currently a Director with CBRE, Inc. Valuation & Advisory Services group. Mr. Tekirian is a designated member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and is licensed as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in multiple states across the Mid-Atlantic and East Coast. He has over 10 years of experience in the valuation of institutional real estate.

His appraisal and consulting experience includes a broad range of assignments. He has extensive experience in appraising the major asset classes of multi-family, retail, office, industrial, land, and mixed-use developments. He also has extensive experience in valuations for ASC 805 and ASC 820 purposes. These assignments have been prepared for a wide range of clients including national and regional banks, law firms, CMBS and private-equity lenders, life companies, mortgage brokers, investments firms, REITS, pension funds, and private corporations, pension fund advisors, investment advisors, and mortgage loan servicers.

Prior to joining CBRE, he was a Director at Chatham Financial where he managed a team covering several prominent institutional clients focused on debt valuations and debt capital markets. Prior to joining Chatham, Mark spent six years with Kroll, LLC (formerly Duff & Phelps) in their real estate advisory group. Mark received a Masters Degree from Drexel University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Kutztown University.
