As a Senior Vice President of the CBRE Minneapolis/St. Paul office, Matt Friday specializes in the representation of national and regional retailers and restaurants. With 25 years of brokerage experience, Matt acts as a key advisor to his clients in their strategic planning, site selection and disposition initiatives. Matt and his team have been responsible for several market roll out strategies with retailers such as ALDI, Shake Shack, Daiso, Face Foundrié, Ross Dress For Less, Smash Park and Caribou Coffee.
Matt brings his experience and seasoned relationships within the CBRE network to each client assignment, allowing him to provide a high level of expertise and service to each transaction. Matt is consistently a top producer and market leader at CBRE. He has negotiated sales and leases with top retailers including Target, ALDI, DSW and Williams Sonoma. In addition, Matt prides himself on his relationships with the market’s premier developers and landlords.
Matt resides in Minnetonka with his wife Tacjana and their three sons Tyler, Dylan and Brayden. In his free time, Matt coaches his 3 sons in hockey and soccer, enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
