Matthew McKeever is a Senior Associate with CBRE Capital Markets in Honolulu, advising private capital investors, family offices, and institutional ownership groups on investment sales, joint ventures, recapitalizations, and strategic real estate advisory assignments throughout the State of Hawaii.

Matthew focuses on the execution and advisory of investment opportunities across office, industrial, medical, retail, multifamily, land, and special purpose assets, with particular expertise in value add, repositioning, and portfolio strategy. His responsibilities include sourcing and underwriting investment opportunities, financial modeling and valuation analysis, transaction structuring, and the execution of tailored marketing and disposition strategies designed to maximize value and certainty of close.

As part of CBRE’s Capital Markets platform, Matthew works closely with senior institutional professionals to connect local and offshore ownership with regional, national, and global sources of capital, leveraging CBRE’s unmatched data, buyer reach, and transactional capabilities. The broader team holds more than $5.5 billion in collective career transaction experience across Hawaii and key mainland markets.

Prior to joining CBRE, Matthew spent four years at Colliers Hawaii, where he specialized in retail leasing and business development, representing landlords and tenants across big box, junior anchor, outparcel, and inline retail formats. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in lease economics, asset positioning, and Hawaii specific market dynamics, while establishing relationships with local, regional, and national users.

Born and raised in Central Florida, Matthew relocated to Honolulu shortly after high school and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. He currently resides in East Honolulu and is actively involved in professional, nonprofit, and community leadership organizations. Outside of commercial real estate, he enjoys surfing, diving, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
