Matthew St Amand

Matthew is Managing Director of CBRE's Wellington office and part of the Capital Markets team. He has over 20 years of experience in senior roles within the New Zealand market across banking and property finance, both senior and mezzanine, corporate real estate management and advisory. 

Over the past three decades, Matthew has developed in-depth relationships with both institutional and high net worth clients across New Zealand. He has also developed strong international relationships with off-shore investors interested in New Zealand investment opportunities and has facilitated several of the largest single office transactions on record on Wellington. As Managing Director, he leverages these relationships and experience to enhance CBRE’s strengths. 

Prior to joining CBRE, Matthew held senior roles with ANZ, including Head of Property, and has also worked for Bank of America and BNZ in various structured finance roles.
