Matthew Van Buren

As President of Advisory Services in Tri-State New York, Matthew Van Buren provides executive oversight of the company’s greater New York office operations and leads the growth strategy for all advisory service lines of business that encompass advisory & transaction services, investment sales, debt & structured finance, property management, and valuation & advisory services. Matt previously managed the CBRE advisory business in the Northeast Division, including New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh. He has extensive experience in capital markets, commercial real estate services globally and the entire value chain of services in the office, retail, hotel, and multifamily sectors.

Prior to joining CBRE Matt built, led sales and marketing teams in the business-to-business information field at Wolters Kluwer, Thomson Reuters, and the Washington Post Company.
