Max Lord is an investment sales professional specializing in multifamily properties throughout San Diego County, with a focus on coastal markets including Pacific Beach, Oceanside, Encinitas, and Carlsbad. Prior to joining CBRE, Max gained experience across private equity real estate and senior housing brokerage, underwriting and modeling over $350M in transactions alongside investors and operators on value-add and development deals.
Now at CBRE, Max works closely with investors, property owners, and buyers to source opportunities, structure transactions, and guide deals from underwriting through closing. He provides detailed property valuations, in-depth market research, and strategic investment guidance, helping clients capitalize on opportunities and achieve their long-term objectives in one of the most competitive multifamily markets in the country. Max leverages AI-driven analytics and large language model tooling to accelerate market intelligence, automate comp analysis, and surface investment insights at a speed and depth that traditional research methods cannot match.
Prior to his professional career, Max graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Colorado Boulder.
