As a licensed real estate agent, Melanie began her commercial real estate experience in Las Vegas joining a commercial owner/developer with a mixed portfolio consisting of more than 2M square feet. Promoted to a Portfolio Manager after a few years of management and leasing, her team consisted of leasing agents, property managers and maintenance staff.
Melanie was soon approached by CB Richard Ellis to join their Las Vegas team, where she worked closely with the Property Management team leasing all product types. Responsibilities included marketing, negotiating new leases, renewals, expansions, and subleases; monthly client activity reports and property analyses.
Four year later, Ms. Braud moved over to a boutique brokerage to pursue her interests in commercial sales, where she still holds her license in Nevada.
Relocating back to Southern California in 2020, Melanie rejoined CBRE in Newport Beach. Over the past few years she has been supporting the Corporate Partners Team, specializing in national advisory and transaction services for multi-market, corporate accounts.
