Micah Beck, MAI, R/W-AC

Micah Beck, MAI, R/W‑AC, serves as the U.S. President of CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services, overseeing a national platform of more than 1,000 professionals across 100+ markets. In this role, Micah leads the strategic direction, operational excellence, and service delivery of the largest valuation network in the country. Under his direction, the platform upholds an exceptional standard of quality while delivering a comprehensive range of VAS products and services. These include Appraisal and Advisory services for lending, right-of-way acquisition, and other purposes; Property Condition Analysis; ALTA Surveys; Environmental Analysis; Real and Personal Property Tax Advisory; as well as Property Tax Payment and Administration.

Prior to his current role, Micah served as VAS Executive Leader, U.S. Markets, overseeing the VAS business as well as the Head of Strategic Growth for VAS in the U.S., where he developed and expanded national service offerings beyond core appraisal, including Right-of-Way valuation, Hotel and Senior Housing appraisal & advisory, Property Tax Services, ALTA Survey coordination, and Environmental Site Analysis.

Earlier in his career, Micah led CBRE’s South Central Region for VAS, covering a six-state territory including Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas. He also previously led the East Region of the U.S. for CBRE’s VAS business.

Since joining CBRE in 2011, Micah has provided valuation services for a wide array of property types and has built a reputation for excellence in litigation support. He has been certified as an expert witness in both State and Federal courts and is frequently retained for valuation assignments related to eminent domain, tax assessment disputes, and bankruptcy proceedings. His experience spans valuations, consultations, reviews, pre-foreclosure analyses, market studies, and contingent valuation surveys for both commercial and residential properties.
