As Managing Director, Office Investor Leasing, Michael is responsible for driving revenue growth with strategic improvements, heightened marketing and branding, and cross-selling between business lines and regions, driving results for CBRE’s clients. His responsibilities range from investor and client advisory on acquisitions, capital investment and re-positioning strategy, to transaction execution, while continuously providing top-tier service to clients across the board.
Prior to joining CBRE, Michael was both Head of Office Agency Leasing, US, as well as a Principal in the Chicago office of Colliers. He previously held executive positions with Sterling Bay and Transwestern and served as a partner in a private investment owner/operator of office, industrial and multifamily assets. Over the course of his 25+ year career in the commercial real estate industry, he has led national service lines and scaled divisions, directing the strategy and operations for multi-billion-dollar asset portfolios spanning multiple asset classes and geographies. He has also executed over 4 million sq. ft. in lease transactions contributing to property sales in excess of $3 billion.
Michael was born and raised in the Chicago area, and lives in Riverwoods, Illinois with his wife and three daughters. He attended the University of Michigan.
