Team Overview - Carolinas Debt & Structured Finance
The Carolinas Multifamily Debt & Structured Finance Team represents nearly 100 years of industry specific experience in mortgage financing across all the major asset types. Our team, consisting of Nate Sittema, Kristen Reilley, Elliott Voreis, Will Chapman, Cabell Thomas, Ben Hardee, Rich Choisser, Claire Lewis & Graham Jenkins has led the financing for over 225 separate transactions since 2019, representing more than $8.9 Billion of financings.
As multifamily finance specialists, the breadth and depth of our lender relationships are a tremendous advantage to our clients. Since 2019, we have originated over $3.4 billion of financings with the Agencies. Additionally, during the same time period, our team has originated and closed multifamily loans with more than 56 different life company, bank, and bridge lenders.
With a primary focus in our home market of the Carolinas, we led over $5.1 Billion of financings in North and South Carolina since 2019 which total nearly 135 transactions. Given the transaction volume with institutional, high-net-worth, and regional client relationships, we have expertise in an array of “out of the box” solutions including: value-add, Sharia Compliant Equity, 1031 Reverse Exchange, Green financing, Tenant-In-Common (“TIC”), Portfolio financings, credit facilities, entity purchases, JV equity, and recapitalizations. Additionally, we have structured transactions on properties with unique characteristics such as Historic Tax Credits, Mixed use, and environmental considerations.
We take great pride in the fact that our team is responsible for every step of the financing process, from underwriting to closing, on every single transaction. We know the importance of having complete trust in the process and confidence in the execution team to deliver, and we are fully committed to providing the highest possible level of service to our clients.
