Michael McCool is a Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance group, based in San Francisco. Mr. McCool leads small-balance and middle-market debt originations for the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California, specializing in agency executions and mortgage banking operations for this segment of the market.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. McCool was an Executive Director with JPMorgan Chase Commercial Mortgage Lending Group, where he was the nation’s top producing loan originator in 2016 and 2018. Prior to his role at JPMorgan Chase, he served in various debt origination and real-estate-owned asset management roles at GE Capital Real Estate and Wells Fargo.
Mr. McCool began his commercial real estate career in 2002 at GE Real Estate in San Francisco, where he spent nearly nine years in various loan origination roles. In his over 20 years in the industry, he has financed or managed the sale of over $4 billion of real estate assets across various executions.

Education
Mr. McCool has a bachelor of arts in history from the University of California, Los Angeles, with continuing studies at Stanford University.
