Associated Office
Michael Robson was appointed Global President of CBRE’s Property Management business lines, leading a team of nearly 19,000 professions across 42 markets globally and overseeing the management of more than 3.7 billion square feet of commercial property, effective April 2026. Michael is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
Michael’s remit covers all CBRE’s property management services that support single asset mandates all the way through to complex multi-market portfolio solutions across a diverse range of sectors, including Office, Retail, Mixed-Use, Industrial and Logistics, and Life Science. He also has oversight of CBRE’s fully integrated real estate property accounting and fund administration business that serves developers, investors, and asset managers.
Michael has held a number of senior leadership positions in the North America and Asia Pacific regions. Prior to joining CBRE, Michael worked at KKR & Co. where he served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Asia for KKR Capstone, the global investment firm’s operating and value-creation arm. Previously, Michael served for five years as the Chief Operating Officer of Industrious, where he oversaw the company’s expansion from five to 50 cities, and was General Manager of the Enterprise business at General Assembly, prior to its acquisition by Adecco. Earlier in his career, Michael was a consultant at McKinsey where he worked with clients in North America, Central America, Asia and Australia on a range of strategic and operational topics.
Michael has a proven track record of driving growth, operational excellence, and transformation across organizations. He will accelerate Property Management’s use of portfolio insights and technology to further raise the standard for property management, delivering better-performing buildings and a more seamless experience for the people who rely on them every day.
