As Chief Operating Officer of Advisory Services, U.S. & Canada, Mike Casey has executive responsibility for the geographic operations in those regions, the Capital Markets and Advisory & Transaction Services business lines in the Americas, and the Managed Brokerage Operating Model.
Previously, he served as an Executive Managing Director, responsible for office leasing recruiting, revenue growth, and business development strategies, as well as supporting office leasing sales professionals and directing sales management in CBRE’s New York City offices.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2014, Mike was appointed the Acting Special Deputy Superintendent and Chief Operating Officer for the New York Liquidation Bureau, which acts for the New York Superintendent of Financial Services as the court appointed fiduciary and receiver of impaired or insolvent insurance companies.
Before working with the New York Liquidation Bureau, Mike served in a number of operating and legal roles, including chief operating officer of two multi-billion-dollar equity long/short hedge funds, general counsel of a boutique investment bank and partner of an international law firm.
