Michael R. Johnson, SIOR

Mike has been a Commercial Real Estate Broker for over 40 years – 35 of those years were with one firm in Silicon Valley/San Jose, California. Mike’s tenure began 40 years ago as a Broker in a small 18-person commercial real estate firm in San Jose, California. Over the next 20 years he and his partners grew the firm to over 450 Commercial Real Estate Brokers in 10 offices in California and Nevada - creating the largest private Colliers International affiliate in the United States. The partners merged their firm with the publicly traded Colliers International, Inc. in 2017. After the merger, Mike relocated back to Nebraska where he was born and raised, going to work for CBRE in Omaha in 2018, bringing with him his extensive experience and an outside perspective to the Omaha real estate market. The relocation also gave Mike the chance to work with his oldest son, Scott, at CBRE, teaming up with him on private capital and investment grade property sales, and many listing and tenant rep opportunities.

Mike is active in his community playing TAPS at military funerals in Omaha and the surrounding area. He has been married 35 years to his wife, Christina, and has three grown children – Scott, Austin, and Jennifer.
