Mike McLaughlin, Senior Vice President of CBRE, specializes in the management of multi-market assignments for Global Corporate space users. Since 1975, he has developed a working network of brokers within and outside of CBRE, enabling him to execute client assignments effectively. Mike managed the Strategic Account relationship with The Stanley Works (became Stanley Black & Decker) for 35 years.
As First Vice President of National Accounts, Mike worked to orchestrate the resources of CBRE on behalf of 30 major clients. This experience has provided him a broad understanding of all major U.S. real estate markets and insight into the corporate cultures of major corporations. National Accounts evolved into Corporate Services which was a closer client relationship, allowing Corporate customers to offload more responsibility to CBRE. Hence, fewer accounts could be managed by each Strategic Account Manager.
Prior to National Accounts, Mike was an industrial sales professional in the Chicagoland marketplace, focusing on the western suburbs of Chicago. During this term, he was consistently one of the top five producers in the Chicago Downtown office. Prior to joining CBRE in 1975, Mike worked as a lending officer for Bank of America in the Bay Area for two years and also in sales for Aircraft Marketing Associates in Oakland, California for two years.
