Mike Taquino is an Executive Vice President at CBRE and a leader of the Capital Markets Institutional Properties practice in Northern California. Over the course of his career as a specialist in investment and development sales in the San Francisco Bay Area, he has closed over $10 billion in transaction volume on behalf of both institutional and private clients. Mr. Taquino excels at understanding real estate trends and consistently ranks among the top producers in the San Francisco office.
The San Francisco Business Times recognized the accomplishments of Mr. Taquino and his business partner Kyle Kovac by naming them “Brokers of the Year” in 2018. The San Francisco Business Times also honored Mr. Taquino with the prestigious “Real Estate Figures of the 40 under 40 Class of 2018” award, recognizing the Bay Area’s most influential real estate industry leaders. In 2021, PG&E tapped Mr. Taquino’s team to sell its 1.9 million square foot San Francisco office campus, which traded for $800 million – marking one of the largest property sales in the city’s history.
Mr. Taquino began his real estate career with CBRE’s commercial appraisal division in San Francisco and transitioned to commercial real estate brokerage with Grubb & Ellis. Before returning to CBRE in his current position, Mr. Taquino most recently worked as an Executive Managing Director at Newmark Knight Frank.
Mr. Taquino is a member of the San Francisco Guardsmen and a board member of the YMCA East Bay.
