Miro Sutton leads Global Head of Energy & Renewables. He and his team of industry experts specialize in crafting innovative solutions for Fortune 500 companies. They cover a broad range of services such as community solar, virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs), utility scale battery energy storage systems, distributed generation (such as on-site solar), energy procurement and transferable tax credits enabled by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Miro Is obsessively focused on the client experience and frequently adjusts his team's offerings and approach to find the balance between risk-mitigation and value accretion. This distinctive approach has enabled him to originate, develop, negotiate and structure 8,000+MWs of new-build renewable capacity over his 15+ year career. Prior to joining CBRE, Miro led the renewable advisory group at NRG Energy.
Aside from his day-to-day leadership role, Miro also engages directly with enterprise clients, problem solves specific challenges with his team, and drives the development of new products and services to ensure clients remain in control of their energy and renewable goals.
