Monique Moyer, Senior Managing Director, Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is part of the West Division leadership team. In this role, Monique oversees the strategy and operations for a portfolio of corporate accounts across multiple industry sectors. She focuses on delivering great client outcomes, employee satisfaction and alignment between business and real estate strategy. She provides clients with valued guidance in the disciplines of account leadership, operational performance, strategic planning and facilities management. Monique currently serves as the West Division leader for CBRE’s COVID-19 incident response team.
Monique has a wide base of experience in property management, asset management, development negotiation and entitlement, capital markets structuring and issuance, and public pension investment policy. She has a long tenure working in matrixed organizations and is known for her leadership, problem-solving and transparency.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2016, Monique served 12 years as Executive Director of the Port of San Francisco overseeing 20 msf of varied real estate assets, a $150M annual budget and a $2.1B 10-year capital plan. Previously, Monique served as Public Finance Director, managing the City’s $2B debt portfolio and representing then-Mayor Willie L. Brown on the CalPERS board of directors. Monique served as San Francisco’s Economic Development Director in 1997.
Prior to joining the government sector in 1996, Monique held officer positions with two investment banking firms where she specialized in municipal finance and collateralized mortgage obligations.
